This presentation was a part of Time After Time, a night of deep dives on different eras in film for Women's History Month, presented  at The Bell House in Brooklyn. This close reading of the 1999 film Election centered on the reception the character Tracy Flick received in the media at the time, now revisited through the lens of Hillary Clinton's defeat in the 2016 presidential election.
